Mark 4:1-20 - The Parable of the Sower

• ‘The New Sanhedrin’
• The historical notes on Mark 4 reveal that the Sanhedrin has 71 members – that’s really interesting as 70/72 is how many disciples Jesus sent out. So 70 plus Jesus = 71.
• The new Sanhedrin? Remember that Jesus was giving his disciples the power to bind & loosen.
• That fits in really well with Halakha in the Talmidin series.
